WESTERN STATES HACKNEY ASSOCIATION

We, the members of the WSHA, would like to show our support to the Hackney Horse Committee for the efforts to support and promote the Hackney Horse.
We see the following items as issues to be addressed in this endeavor.
- Strive toward current and accurate Hackney census that is readily available to the public via internet or email.
- Considering a suggestion of revisiting the timing and location of the Annual National meeting. i.e. Kentucky Horse Park, National Headquarters location, where members could visit their respective Breed Association Headquarters.
- We would like to see better inclusion of the Hackney Horse in National Publications, Promotions, and other appropriate literature. i.e. 2006 CDE World Championship won by a Hackney Horse.
- Support from the Hackney Horse Committee to seek Global communication regarding the Hackney Horse with other international Hackney societies. i.e. Breeding, Registering, Showing.
We are very excited about the renewal in interest in the Hackney Horse. We are diligently working towards the expansion and recognition of the Hackney Horse in the Western States. Please count on us regarding any efforts towards the success of the growth and promotion of the Hackney Horse.
